McCall MacBain Scholarship is a fully-funded private scholarship. It is offered for Master’s and a few select Second-Entry Professional Undergraduate Degrees. This scholarship offers 130 scholarships and awards which includes 30 scholarships for successful applicants, and 100 awards for finalists not receiving the scholarship. McCall MacBain Scholarship is exclusively for McGill University, but you can apply to the university at the later date from the scholarship. It offers benefits such as tuition fee coverage, living stipend of $2,300 per month, one-time relocation grant, beginner to advanced french language courses, $5,000 summer grant for meaningful initiatives (upon approval), and opportunity to experience new culture. The deadline for McCall MacBain Scholarship is 20 August, 2025.

To be eligible for the McCall MacBain Scholarship, applicants must meet specific academic, age, and residency requirements.
Age Criteria
Your age is under or 30 at the time of application.
Bachelor’s Degree
Have a bachelor’s degree (completed before the start of the classes).
English Language Proficiency
Prior to admission, you may need to demonstrate an adequate level of proficiency in English. IELTS 6.5 band, TOEFL 86 or higher is minimum requirement. In some departments, a higher score may be required for admission. The proof must be sent to officials through the IELTS or TOEFL administration directly.

Attend Regional Interviews (invitation only)
After initial assessment, 250 (Canadian and International Students) semi-finalists will be asked to attend the regional interviews between October to December, as communicated by the administration.
Attend Final Interviews (invitation only)
Around 85 finalists are asked to appear in interviews in Montreal in following March. Travel costs are covered. Finalists will receive full scholarship or finalist’s award (as and if selected) based on these interviews.
